## Description

Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Bookkeeper to join an established insurance agency. This position will be responsible for supporting the agency’s day-to-day accounting functions, with a primary focus on premium processing, company statements, payment reconciliation, and applying client funds.

The agency currently uses TAM and will be transitioning to EPIC before the end of the year. Experience with EPIC is required. Candidates with experience in both TAM and EPIC are strongly preferred, but TAM experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and accurately record premium payments

• Review and pay insurance company statements

• Reconcile payments with surety companies

• Apply incoming funds to open client invoices

• Coordinate closely with the team member responsible for client billing

• Research and resolve payment or account discrepancies

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

• Assist with additional bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience within an insurance agency

• Experience using EPIC

• Experience with TAM is preferred

• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work closely with billing and accounting team members

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Schedule

This is a full-time, in-office position. The Bookkeeper will work Monday through Friday from 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. The office closes early on Fridays during the summer
