Job Description
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative will provide professional, courteous service to our customers, carrier representatives, and colleagues. The individual will work in a team atmosphere to provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts. The Account Manager will partner with a Sales Executive or independently manage an assigned group of our valued clients to identify needs, assist in developing program designs, proposals and presentations, as well as review and deliver policies.

Desired Skills and Experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 year of insurance experience. In addition, they should be familiar with all aspects of insurance services from the application process to policy analysis. This position also requires an ability to professionally and energetically respond to client questions and concerns.

•Current Property and Casualty Insurance license for the state of Oregon
•Strong ability to listen, discern and prioritize with clients, colleagues and insurance carrier representatives based on a deep understanding of relevant issues
•Strong organizational skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize
•Ability to initiate and foster rapport with customers, coworkers and companies
•Highly motivated and results oriented individual

•Respond promptly and professionally to the service needs of our clients
•Provide clerical and technical support to Producers and Account Executives to benefit and establish/maintain client relationship
•Gather and organize appropriate information required to market accounts
•Follow-up with underwriters for quotes
•Compare quotes for coverage, limits and pricing
•Prepare proposals
•Participate in proposal presentations
•Issue binding instructions and notification to carriers
•Issue binders and invoices
•Complete surplus lines due diligence and affidavits when applicable
•Review and ensure that policy documents are received in a timely manner from carrier and are accurate in coverage provided
•Ensure that policy changes are made in a timely and accurate manner
•Produce timely and accurate binders, certificates, endorsements and other policy-related items
•Work cooperatively and professionally with Producers and Account Executives to deliver services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle. This includes risk control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, preparation of coverage outlines and marketing of emergent and renewal coverage requests.
