Our client specializes in a wide range of insurance and risk management products including: Property, Construction, Primary and Excess Liability, Directors & Officers/Management Liability, Professional Liability, Cyber Liability and Privacy, Crime, Employment Practices Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Employee Benefits, Ocean and Inland Marine, Personal Lines, and Surety Bonds.
Our client is headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA and has a plan to double the agency in the next 5 years. They are looking for a talented Account Manager who wants to grow with them and lead the growth of the Small Business Unit.
Manage a client base of accounts in a manner that promotes an excellent level of service and profitability to both the customer and our client, promote revenue growth, and ensure a high level of retention.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of coverages and policy terms and be able to clearly articulate this information as needed.
Deliver high level of service and manage all aspects of client service including new business and renewal processing in a manner consistent with established procedures.
This is a full service and self sufficient role for a person who likes the challenge of managing and growing an important book of business.
Maintains relationships with clients, support staff, insurance markets, vendors, and staff.
Keep proper maintenance of client’s electronic files in TAM agency management system. Document all activities in a manner which is clear and understandable by others.
Promote and support a paperless environment.
Follow established company and carrier protocols for new business submissions. Follow up with markets and monitor the quote/underwriting process to ensure that we are meeting the necessary time frames established.
Actively seek opportunities to develop additional account revenue by cross selling/adding lines of business to existing accounts, and asking for referrals.
Effectively process renewals to ensure retention of business.
Identify needs within the current agency management system and other programs, and provide solutions for improving efficiencies.
Participate in Company initiatives, such as sales and marketing campaigns, and implementing new procedures established in collaboration with the Operations team.
