Strategic and operational IT leader with over a decade of experience supporting enterprise business systems within a highly regulated industry. Proven success aligning technology with organizational goals, optimizing operations across underwriting, claims, and risk management functions. Brings a collaborative, structured approach to leadership, project management, and cross-functional coordination.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a senior leadership team member participating in governance and strategic IT planning

Lead, coach, and develop departmental leadership team members in alignment with corporate goals

Set IT department objectives and oversee budgeting in partnership with executive leadership

Coordinate project development and delivery across business systems and analytics teams

Guide end-to-end project lifecycles—from requirements gathering and planning to execution and postmortem analysis

Act as liaison across business units to ensure alignment and stakeholder engagement

Deliver clear, consistent reporting on project goals, progress, and performance

Provide hands-on support in Business Analyst and QA functions when needed
🎓 Education & Credentials:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration

Master’s degree preferred with a strong technology focus
-
Professional project management certification a plus
📈 Industry Experience:
-
10+ years in insurance operations with a strong emphasis on Property & Casualty; Professional Liability experience beneficial

5+ years in IT leadership roles managing teams and directing technical operations
-
5+ years of project management delivering IT and business process solutions
🛠 Technical & Professional Skills:

Expertise with Microsoft Project, Office, and Visio

Skilled in creating project documentation: proposals, reports, plans, RFPs/RFIs, etc.

Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, integration, and lifecycle management

Familiarity with applicable regulations, budgeting practices, and IT compliance

Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and effective communication (verbal and written)
