Position Overview:
The James Allen Companies Inc is seeking a Recording Clerk on behalf of a busy, well-established title insurance agency located in New York. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated, experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of the title insurance recording process.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify and submit legal documents for recording in all New York counties.

Track and monitor documents to ensure timely processing and official recording.

Prepare ACRIS and transfer documents for title insurance closings.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on pending recordings.

Build and maintain strong rapport with clients and internal teams.

Communicate with county offices and resolve recording issues as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a title insurance or legal real estate setting.

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, client-focused demeanor.

Familiarity with ACRIS and New York recording procedures.

Knowledge of Simplifile and Tracker Pro is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
