Our client is a TPA, founded in 1972 that specializes in the design, implementation & administration of self funded health and dental plans. company also provides claims paying support for several medical insurance carriers.
Third Party Administrator specializing in Self Funded Health Plans seeks a seasoned sales executive. This person should have an in-depth knowledge of large group health insurance plans (funding arrangement, stop-loss, claims administration, sales & renewal process, Broker/GA distribution channels, etc.).
Desired Skills & Experience
Must have a valid NYS Life & Health Insurance license.
Demonstrable success in sales related to large group health insurance with an specialty area of expertise in self-insurance funding arrangements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong consultative selling and presentation skills to CEO’s, CFO’s & HR Executives
Ability to develop and manage relationships to reach business goals, specifically through Brokers, General Agents, Benefits Consultants and directly with Large Group prospects
Experience in a business environment with the Independent Broker/General Agent community and a background in business development.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize the actions required to accomplish day to day goals and objectives. As well as work effectively with fellow associates to further the goals of the business.
