Position Summary

The QA Reviewer Specialist is responsible for conducting detailed technical reviews of property insurance estimates related to flooring, water mitigation, roofing, and general construction repairs.

This position ensures accuracy, consistency, and compliance across estimates submitted by contractors and vendors. Working in a high-volume, quality-focused environment, the QA Reviewer Specialist evaluates scope, pricing, and line-item detail using estimating software and provides clear feedback and corrections to support claim resolution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and revise estimates for medium to large property loss claims using estimating software such as Xactimate or similar platforms.
  • Validate scope, pricing, labor, materials, diagrams, floor plans, and overall estimate accuracy.
  • Provide clear technical review notes, corrections, and recommendations.
  • Manage an assigned queue of estimates to ensure reviews are completed within established service level agreements, productivity goals, and turnaround expectations.
  • Communicate with contractors, flooring providers, mitigation vendors, and insurance representatives to clarify scope discrepancies and resolve estimate issues.
  • Provide guidance to contractors and vendors regarding estimating practices, software usage, and required corrections.
  • Help improve estimate quality and reduce rework.
  • Meet or exceed established standards for accuracy, productivity, turnaround time, and quality.
  • Provide responsive, detail-oriented service with a strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in property insurance claims estimating.
  • Active Insurance Adjuster License required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Xactimate or similar property estimating software.
  • Experience with Symbility or comparable estimating platforms may also be considered.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with contractors, vendors, and insurance representatives.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in an office or remote work environment and does not have unusual physical or environmental demands.

The role is highly production and quality focused and requires the ability to manage multiple estimates while meeting established turnaround and accuracy expectations.

Schedule

Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

Remote employees are expected to work Central Time hours.
