Jeff named the company in honor of his father James, who passed before the organization’s inception, combining James’ first name along with Jeff’s middle name, Allen. Jeff Gipson Sr.
Founded in 2000 – President

Jeff Gipson Sr is a 25 year veteran of the staffing industry. He got his start working for an international staffing organization where he focused on information technology placements across the country. In July 1992 Jeff  continued his staffing career with a St. Louis based information technology staffing company where he was strategically involved in launching  the organizations first branch office and subsequently three additional branch offices over the next several years.  In July 2000 Jeff made another move this time to launch his own staffing company continuing his IT focus. In 2003 the organization was reinvented. Relying on his earlier sales career in the insurance industry the company changed course and began building the firm around the insurance industry.  The company continues to put all their energy in the insurance sector filling positions of all titles across the country.  Jeff and his wife Carolyn have been married for 35 years, they have three children and five grandchildren.

Amy Gipson-Simpson

Joined in 2005 – Sr. Recruiter

Amy has 10 years of successfully recruiting experienced insurance professionals. Her extensive experience and network of contacts has allowed her to place highly skilled and nearly impossible to find candidates in underwriting, claims, loss control, sales, premium audit, marketing, human resources, IT and beyond. She loves the challenge of looking for someone who seems impossible to find.  Amy is committed to exceeding her clients expectations and enjoys helping people to enhance their careers. Amy has two young children, Noah and Jonah and has been married to her husband Marc for 12 years. They love to travel and look forward to planning their next visit to Disney World.

Matthew McKenzie

Joined in 2014 – Web/Social Media Sourcing

Matt is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Applied Science in Computer Technology. Matt and his wife Tana of 5 years have a beautiful 3 year old daughter Ellie. Matt’s hobbies include golf, fishing and woodworking.

Steve Gipson

Joined in 2010 – Recruiter

Steve Gipson is a 2009 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelors degree in Communications, and a minor in Criminal Justice. He immediately began his recruiting career as a healthcare recruiter at Maxim Health Care Services in St. Louis, MO. In December of 2010, he took an opportunity to move closer to family and joined The James Allen Companies. The following year, Steve married his college sweetheart, Ellen, and they currently reside in Cape Girardeau, MO. Steve enjoys playing golf, attempting to play various musical instruments, and spending time with family.

Carolyn Gipson

Joined in 2000 – Office Manager

  Carolyn is an integral part of the organization working as the Office and Accounting Manager. She is a homemaker and the mother of three children and five grandchildren.

Jeffrey Gipson Jr.

Joined in 2004 – Marketing

Jeff Jr started with The James Allen Companies as a Recruiter and combined 11 years of recruiting knowledge with technical expertise to support the staff in a wide range of areas from candidate sourcing to website development. He and his wife Brandy of 12 years have 3 children Lauren (6), Allison (3) and their latest addition Jeffrey III (6 months).

When not at work Jeff enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
