We are seeking a Senior Personal Insurance Claims Specialist skilled in handling valuable articles claims for high-value luxury goods. This role is a Team Lead position, and our candidate serves as a player-coach within our company’s claims division — combining technical, expert-level, and best practices claim handling with mentoring and process oversight.
You will manage end-to-end claims processing, drive continuous improvement of workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance across all 50 states. In addition, you will train and mentor claims staff while delivering the high-touch, white-glove service our clients expect. This position plays a key role in ensuring claims are managed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with both regulatory and internal standards.
How you contribute:

Manage end-to-end claims processing for high-value and complex cases.

Serve as a player-coach, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to claims staff.

Drive continuous improvement of claims workflows and operational processes.

Ensure regulatory compliance across all 50 states.

Deliver high-touch, white-glove service to clients, maintaining the standards expected in the luxury segment.

Oversee claim quality and accuracy, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

5+ years of progressive claims experience, preferably in jewelry/personal lines insurance.

Strong knowledge of claim processes, best practices, and quality assurance standards.

Demonstrated ability to train and mentor claims teams; excellent communication and leadership skills.

Prior exposure to jewelry/luxury goods claims or high-value homeowners insurance.

Strong knowledge of insurance claims workflows, regulatory/compliance frameworks across multiple states.

Familiarity with subrogation, fraud investigations, specialty salvage/recovery.

Insurance Claims Certification(s) and state adjuster licensure, a plus.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-stakes claims in parallel.

A professional demeanor appropriate for interacting with high-net-worth clients, brokers, jewelers, and external specialists.

Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-first mindset.

Resolve more complex operational components within the claims process.

Analytical mindset: Analyze current workflow and processes and identify areas for improvement.

Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office Applications.

Salesforce experience would be a bonus.
