About the Role
Our Client is a growing personal Injury Law firm they are seeking a motivated adjuster to manage personal-injury claims on behalf of injured plaintiffs, primarily auto bodily-injury cases. This is a pre-litigation role focused on communicating with insurance carriers and clients and helping resolve claims efficiently and for appropriate settlement amounts.
The firm is growing, so this role is well suited to someone who is comfortable in a developing, fast-paced environment and interested in helping build a team and its processes.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and negotiate with first-party and third-party insurance carriers on clients’ claims.
- Work to obtain appropriate, maximum settlements for clients.
- Discuss settlement offers and options with clients.
- Obtain client approval and coordinate settlement paperwork.
- Manage pre-litigation injury claims, primarily auto bodily-injury matters, with occasional other personal-injury claims.
Qualifications
- Ideally 3 + years of experience handling personal-injury claims, with experience in moderate injury matters beyond soft-tissue claims.
- Strong candidates with less experience, including primarily soft-tissue experience, may be considered if they demonstrate sound judgment, capability, and motivation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and client-service skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and adapt as a growing firm develops its operations.
- A proactive, growth-oriented approach and interest in helping build a developing practice.
