Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency, is seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. This role supports the commercial lines department through a combination of client service, policy administration, and collaboration with producers and carrier partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day customer service to commercial lines clients
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage questions, policy servicing, and underwriting matters
• Quote new commercial lines business across multiple carriers
• Submit applications for new business based on information provided by producers
• Support producers and account teams with policy servicing and documentation
• Work collaboratively with other team members in a team-oriented agency environment
Compensation & Incentives
Salary +
• Employees earn 10% first-year commission on any new business they write
• Additional details are outlined in the agency manual provided upon hire

• Roughly $45M in total premium volume
• Book of business mix: 75% commercial lines, 20% personal lines, 5% life & health
• Represents many of the major insurance carriers in the marketplace
• Licensed in multiple states nationwide
• Utilizes AMS360 (Vertafore) as its agency management system
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break provided
