Location: Daleville, Virginia

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager to join a well-established, customer service-focused independent insurance agency in Daleville, Virginia. With over 60 years of experience, the agency prides itself on providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed insurance professional in Virginia with proven experience working in an independent insurance agency. Candidates with at least five years of captive agency experience may also be considered.

As a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager, you will play an important role in providing outstanding customer service, managing existing client accounts, and assisting customers with their personal insurance needs. You will serve as a trusted resource, helping clients understand their coverage options and ensuring their policies meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, assisting with policy-related questions, coverage options, and insurance needs.
• Policy Management: Process policy changes, endorsements, updates, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
• Issue Resolution: Address client concerns and resolve policy or service-related issues in a timely manner.
• Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing support for their personal insurance needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy transactions, and account updates within the agency’s management system.
• Customer Education: Educate clients on personal insurance products, coverage options, and policy details to help them make informed decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and insurance carriers to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required: Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Previous experience working in an independent insurance agency preferred.
• Candidates with at least five years of captive agency experience may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including homeowners, auto, and other personal insurance coverages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to building lasting client relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize service requests.
• Comfortable working with agency management systems, CRM software, and other digital tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
